Metallica Foundation Donates $250K for Türkiye Earthquake Relief Efforts

Metallica‘s All Without Our Hands foundation has donated more than $250,000 to aid victims of the Feb. 6 magnitude 7.8 earthquake in Southern Türkiye and Northern Syria that has killed 41,000 people and left tens of thousands homeless.

“The Fund transferred $125,000 each to the international organizations Direct Relief and World Central Kitchen, which provide support to Türkiye in the aftermath of earthquakes,” the structure said in a statement.

On Monday, February 6, two earthquakes with a magnitude of more than seven points occurred in the southeast of Türkiye (at 04.17 local time – 7.7 points and at 13.24 – 7.6 points).

The death toll from the devastating earthquake in southeastern Türkiye has exceeded 35.4 thousand people.
