During the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation between Uzbekistan and Malaysia in the oil and gas, chemical, and energy sectors.
“Issues of geological exploration and development of promising fields, the introduction of advanced technologies to reduce the harm caused by carbon dioxide to the environment were identified as priority areas of cooperation. The parties also agreed to train highly qualified personnel on the basis of the Petronas University,” the press service of the President of Uzbekistan said in a statement.
