An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.1 struck Türkiye on Sunday, Turanews.kz reports.
According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), the epicenter of the earthquake was located 26 kilometers northeast of the Kozan district of the city of Adana. The earthquake’s hypocenter was at a depth of five kilometers.
There were no reports of damage or casualties from the earthquake. The earthquake was felt in several cities in southern Türkiye, including Adana, Mersin, and Gaziantep.
The EMSC said that the earthquake was felt at a maximum intensity of IV on the Mercalli scale, which means that it was felt by most people in the area and that some objects may have been shaken or moved.
