“Loving Famagusta” themed photography exhibition meets visitors

Organized by TIKA and the Antique Famagusta Foundation, the photography exhibition themed “Loving Famagusta” was opened in Surici Bandabulya.

The exhibition consists of the historical and cultural riches of the city of Famagusta and the photographs that reflected in the lenses of the youth of Famagusta, can be visited until January 27.

Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) President Ersin Tatar, TRNC Prime Minister Unal Ustel, TRNC Minister of Labor and Social Security Hasan Tacoy, Chairman of the Ancient Famagusta Foundation and Famagusta Deputy Fikirye Eroglu Canaltay and many Famagusta art lovers attended the opening of the exhibition.

Expressing his pleasure at the opening of such a meaningful exhibition, President Tatar stated that Famagusta is one of the most important settlements of the TRNC with its port, historical monuments, Maraş region and university, and that this exhibition contributes to the promotion of the TRNC and Famagusta.

Canaltay, President of the Antique Famagusta Foundation, noted that he is happy to bring to life an exhibition based on the youth on this road, which was set out to contribute to the branding process of Famagusta. Canaltay stated that the main goals of the project are to bring young people together with Famagusta and to motivate their geographical belonging.

Speaking on behalf of the young people whose photographs were exhibited in the exhibition, Elin Konyalı expressed her passion for photography and the city of Famagusta and thanked everyone who contributed to the exhibition.
