Leaders of Turkic States Pose for Family Photo at Informal Summit in Budapest

The informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States is being held on 20–21 May in Budapest, Hungary. On the opening day, participating heads of state gathered at the Várkert Bazár pavilion for a family photo, symbolizing unity and solidarity among member countries.

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan was welcomed by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán upon arrival. A bilateral meeting between Tokayev and Orbán is also scheduled, with discussions expected to focus on enhancing trade, economic cooperation, and cultural ties.

The summit will also address pressing regional and global issues, as well as the future of cooperation within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States.
