Kyrgyzstan’s Population Reaches 7.25 Million
As of October 1, 2024, Kyrgyzstan's population has reached 7,254,000 people, according to data released by the National Statistical Committee.
The population grew by 91,700 people, or 1.3%, since the beginning of the year. Statistics from the Department of Population Registration and Civil Status Acts indicate that between January and September, 107,900 births and 24,200 deaths were recorded, resulting in a natural population increase of 83,700 people.
The highest population growth was observed in the Batken, Osh, and Jalal-Abad regions, while the lowest growth was recorded in Bishkek and the Issyk-Kul region.
