The National Statistics Committee reported that exports decreased by 3.7% to $1.6 billion, while imports rose by 6.7% to $7.217 billion. This imbalance resulted in a trade deficit, with imports accounting for 81.8% of the total trade turnover.
While trade with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states declined by 8.7% to $2.4 billion, Kyrgyzstan’s trade with countries outside the bloc experienced a notable growth of 10.6% to $6.4 billion. Russia and Kazakhstan remained the country’s primary trading partners within the EAEU.
