Kyrgyzstan Urges Action to Stop Gaza Genocide

Kyrgyzstan is urging the international community, particularly the United States, to halt the ongoing genocide in Gaza

Edil Baisalov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, made these remarks during the inauguration of a photo exhibition celebrating the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Republic’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as per the Cabinet’s press service.

Baisalov highlighted the systematic destruction of Gaza’s population, condemning the deliberate killings of thousands of children, UN personnel, and journalists over the past six months. He emphasized that the documented atrocities depict a live genocide in 2024, with two million Palestinians enduring hunger while the world remains inert.

While affirming Kyrgyzstan’s condemnation of terrorism and previous denouncement of attacks on Israeli civilians, Baisalov underscored the importance of upholding international law and the United Nations’ principles. He stressed that while recognizing Israel’s right to self-defense, the Israeli government must not act above international legal frameworks.

Kyrgyzstan implores the international community, especially the United States as Israel’s main sponsor, to intervene and halt the ongoing madness and genocide in Gaza, Baisalov concluded.
