In Kyrgyzstan, consumer prices and tariffs increased by 14.7% in January-December 2022, Turanews.kz reports citing National Statistics Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Based on the presented statistics;
the cost of alcohol and tobacco products in the country increased by 24.4%,
food and non-alcoholic beverages – by 15.8%,
non-food goods – by 12.7%,
and tariffs for public services – increased by 9.1%.
In the current year;
fish – 32.5%
sugar – 30.5%
flour – 27.8%
dairy products – 26.8%
pasta and other cereals – 25.5%
bakery products – 22.6%
butter – 22.3%
dried fruits and nuts – 20.6%,
rice – 19.7%
pork – 19.3%
bread – 17.4%
soft drinks – 16.1%
buckwheat – 12.1%
beef – 12.2%
and lamb – 11.7% has increased
Compared to December 2021, the increase in consumer prices and tariffs for 2022 was observed in all regions of the republic. At the same time, the maximum price increase was recorded in Naryn region (18.4%), where alcoholic beverages and tobacco products immediately increased in price by 43.3%.
