The bill, put forth by Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Nurlanbek Shakiev and Deputy Ulan Primov, aims to enhance one of Kyrgyzstan’s primary state symbols, the national flag. The proposed modification involves transitioning the current wavy pattern of the rays on the flag to a design more reminiscent of sun rays.

Following the successful vote, Speaker Shakiev extended congratulations to his colleagues for their collaborative effort in amending the national flag. This initiative reflects the ongoing commitment to the continuous improvement of Kyrgyzstan’s state symbols.
