Kyrgyzstan opens embassy in Mongolia to boost ties

The Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Mongolia was solemnly opened in Ulaanbaatar on Tuesday, as part of the official state visit of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov to Mongolia, Turanews.kz reports.

The opening ceremony was attended by high-ranking diplomatic representatives from both countries, including Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev, Kyrgyz Ambassador to Mongolia Aibek Artykbaev, and Mongolian Foreign Minister Battsetseg Batmunkhin.

The opening of the embassy is a significant milestone in the relations between Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia, and is seen as a sign of the deepening ties between the two countries.

Earlier, by presidential decree, Aibek Artykbaev was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to Mongolia.

During his visit, President Japarov met with his Mongolian counterpart, Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, and the two leaders signed a joint declaration on the establishment of friendship and cooperation. They also signed a number of bilateral agreements.

The opening of the embassy is a further boost to the relations between Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia, and is expected to lead to increased cooperation in a number of areas, including trade, investment, and tourism.
