Kyrgyzstan lifts the ban on import of meat and livestock from Uzbekistan

The restriction was introduced in September 2022.

Kyrgyzstan has lifted a temporary restriction on the import of meat and livestock from Uzbekistan, Turanews.kz reports citing The Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic

Uzbekistan plans to organize trains to Kyrgyzstan for perishable products.

Kyrgyzstan’s restrictions on Uzbekistan have been in effect since September 2022.

Earlier, the list of countries which are buying the products of Uzbekistan was published. It was stated on the list that the top export goods were processed cotton and household appliances.

According to Statistic deparment of Uzbekistan, the volume of exported meat and livestock from Mongolia, it was about 500 tons of meat products in 2022 year.
