Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan discuss project of Kambarata HPP-1
Ministries of Energy of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan held talks on the construction of the Kambarata hydroelectric power plant, Turanews.kz reports citing the Press Service of the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic said.
The meeting was attended by Ministers of Energy of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, Taalaibek Ibraev and Zhurabek Mirzamakhmudov, Deputy Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan Zhandos Nurmaganbetov and Minister of Water Resources of Uzbekistan Shavkat Khamraev, as well as responsible managers and employees of subordinate organizations.
The parties discussed the implementation of the Roadmap and considered draft documents on the main principles of cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, the main stages of preparing project of Kambarata HPP-1 for implementation were agreed, and an agreement was reached to hold the next meeting before the end of this month.
