Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan Strengthen Cooperation in Transport and Logistics
Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held talks to discuss trade, economic, and transport-logistics cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting focused on collaboration in the energy sector and the development of transport logistics. President Japarov highlighted the significant potential for expanding cooperation in this field, emphasizing the importance of infrastructure projects that could enhance economic ties between Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan. The Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan reported on the discussions.
Turkmenistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rashid Meredov, reaffirmed Ashgabat’s commitment to further deepening bilateral cooperation, stressing the importance of strategic partnerships.
In response, President Japarov expressed confidence that Kyrgyz-Turkmen relations will continue to develop dynamically, based on a strong foundation of strategic partnership.
