Kyrgyz wrestler Aisuluu Tynybekova wins third World Championship gold

On September 21, Aisuluu Tynybekova, a member of the Kyrgyz national wrestling team, won a gold medal at the World Championships in Belgrade, Serbia, Turanews.kz reports citing Kabar agency.

Tynybekova, who competes in the 62 kg weight category, defeated athletes from Poland, Moldova, Ukraine, and Germany in the lead-up to the final. In the final, she defeated Japanese wrestler Sakura Motoki by a score of 4-1 to become a three-time world champion.

Tynybekova also won a license to participate in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. She previously won world championships in 2019 and 2021.
