The ceremony of awarding 945 graduates of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University (KTMU) took place in Bishkek, Turanews.kz reports.
The university was founded in 1995 in the capital of Kyrgyzstan. The graduation ceremony for the 2022-2023 academic year, which took place on the outdoor sports ground of the Chingiz Aitmatov campus, was attended by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Aibek Moldogaziyev, diplomats, rectors, teachers, and relatives of students.
The event began with the performance of the national anthems of Kyrgyzstan and Türkiye .
Turkish Ambassador to Bishkek Ahmet Sadyk Dogan congratulated the university graduates and wished them success.
University rector Alparslan Ceylan noted that KTMU is among the top 1,000 universities in the world. He expressed hope that the graduates of the university would serve not only the development of Kyrgyzstan and Türkiye, but also the entire Turkic world.
