Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov to Visit Kazakhstan for Regional Summit
President Sadyr Japarov of Kyrgyzstan will embark on a working visit to Kazakhstan from August 8 to 10. The visit comes at the invitation of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as announced by Muratbek Azymbakiyev, head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Kyrgyz Presidential Administration.
During his visit to Astana, President Japarov will participate in the Sixth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and the “Central Asia + Japan” Summit.
In addition to the summit meetings, President Japarov is scheduled to hold talks with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, focusing on key issues of bilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Japan.
The Sixth Consultative Meeting aims to address pressing matters of multilateral cooperation and explore future prospects for regional collaboration among Central Asian countries and Japan, according to Azymbakiyev.
President Japarov will also take part in the “Central Asia + Japan” business forum, which is a part of the Summit’s agenda.
