Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov has presented a horse to Kazakh poet Birzhan Kaldybayev in recognition of his contribution to the friendship between the two countries, Turanews.kz reports.
Kaldybayev performed at the opening ceremony of the Kok-Boru World Cup in Cholpon-Ata on August 13, where he sang a song about the friendship of the two peoples. Zhaparov was so impressed by the performance that he said that a stallion was waiting for Kaldybayev in Bishkek.
The horse was presented to Kaldybayev on Sunday, August 20, by Kanybek Tumonbaev, the President’s manager. Kaldybayev expressed his gratitude for the gift and said that he would cherish it as a symbol of the friendship between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
The presentation of the horse is a gesture of goodwill from the Kyrgyz President and is a further sign of the strong ties between the two countries. It is also a recognition of Kaldybayev’s talent and his contribution to the promotion of cultural and artistic exchange between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
