Kyrgyzstan has ranked among the top ten countries supplying freelancers to the Russian market, according to a joint study by Solar Staff, TenChat, and the All-Russian Business Center, cited by RBC.
In the first half of 2025, the average monthly earnings of freelancers in Russia rose to 42,000 rubles — a 31.2% increase year-on-year. This trend highlights the growing role of remote professionals in the country’s economy.
Roughly 70% of Russian companies have used freelancers at least once, with one in three relying on them regularly. Web developers and programmers are the highest-paid among them, earning over 188,000 and 185,000 rubles respectively.
Kyrgyzstan joins a list of countries actively providing freelance services to Russian businesses, which also includes Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Serbia, Spain, and Moldova.
Russian companies frequently outsource tasks in IT, accounting, design, and marketing to freelancers. Experts note that this approach helps firms manage workloads efficiently without expanding permanent staff.
