Kazakhstan’s Reservoirs Show Increase in Water Levels

The Press Service of the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation of the Republic of Kazakhstan has reported ongoing growth in water levels across the country's reservoirs.

In the northern regions, reservoirs are currently at an average capacity of 59%, marking a 9% increase compared to the previous year.

In southern regions, the water levels stand at 58%.

In western areas, reservoirs are notably at 77% capacity, reflecting a 14% surge from last year.

Meanwhile, in the eastern parts of the country, reservoirs are filled to an average of 60%, representing a 9% increase from the previous year.

In central Kazakhstan, the water levels reach 61%.
