According to an official statement released on the TCMB’s website on April 20, 2024, the memorandum was signed by President of TCMB, Fatih Karahan, and Chairman of NBK, Timur Suleimenov, in Washington, D.C., the capital of the United States.
The agreement is geared towards strengthening cooperation between the banks of the two countries and conducting technical studies in the field of central banking within the framework of institutional relations.
