Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Health Launches “Analar Saulygy” Program to Enhance Women’s Health

Kazakhstan's Ministry of Health has introduced the "Analar Saulygy" program, designed to protect reproductive health and improve the well-being of women of childbearing age.

The initiative, which encompasses eight key activities, aims to provide special attention to women planning pregnancies, as well as young girls and teenagers.

Under this program, local healthcare providers will conduct health assessments for every woman of childbearing age to evaluate their health status, according to the department’s press service.

To promote safe pregnancies, the program includes pre-gravid preparation—an essential set of diagnostic, preventive, and therapeutic measures aimed at assessing health and preparing couples for conception and childbirth.

The Ministry emphasizes the importance of timely and quality medical care from a young age for all residents. They encourage every woman in Kazakhstan to visit a clinic for examinations before planning a pregnancy.

Currently, Kazakhstan is home to over 10 million women, with approximately 4.7 million being of childbearing age. These women play a pivotal role in their families, and enhancing their health is crucial for sustainable socio-demographic development in the country.
