Kazakhstan-Uzbekistan Trade Surpasses $3.8 Billion

As of the first eleven months of 2024, Kazakhstan has become one of Uzbekistan’s top three trading partners.

This figure highlights the significant strengthening of economic ties between the two neighboring countries and the steady growth in trade turnover, reports Uzbekistan’s UzA news agency.

According to Uzbekistan’s State Statistics Agency, the country’s total foreign trade turnover for January-November 2024 amounted to $59.4 billion, marking a 3.6% increase compared to the same period last year. This reflects the stability and efficiency of Uzbekistan’s foreign economic relations.

UzA reports that Uzbekistan maintains economic ties with 195 countries globally. The largest share of trade turnover comes from China (19%), Russia (18%), Kazakhstan (6.5%), Turkey (4.4%), and South Korea (3%). Partnerships with these countries are growing rapidly and contribute significantly to the country’s trade growth.
