On January 23 the capital city of Kazakhstan, Astana will host to the 2023 Astana Meeting World Indoor Athletics Championships, Turanews.kz reports citing press service of Astana municipality reports.
World Athletics Indoor Tour is an annual series of indoor athletics competitions that has been held since 2016.
The Championship is expect to bring together athletes from many countries such as USA, Portugal, Brazil, Ethiopia, Morocco, Cuba, and more.
The prize money for each discipline is 4000 USD.
“This competition increases the reputation of domestic athletics at the international level and the competition between athletes” said in the statement.
