Kazakhstan Strengthens Cooperation with Mongolia during Delegation Visit to Ulaanbaatar
On September 27, a Kazakh delegation led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alibek Bakayev visited Ulaanbaatar to enhance bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and Mongolia. The visit included a series of meetings focused on deepening political, economic, and cultural ties.
In a meeting with Lkhanaazhavyn Monkhtushig, State Secretary of the Mongolian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both sides exchanged views on current bilateral relations and discussed pressing international and regional issues. The diplomats emphasized the importance of maintaining high-level contacts to strengthen the partnership between the two nations.
Bakayev also held talks with Sukhbaataryn Batbold, State Secretary of the Mongolian Ministry of Road and Transport Development, where they explored opportunities for enhancing transport and logistics cooperation.
Another key discussion was with Chimedtserengiin Tsevegdorj, State Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Youth Affairs of Mongolia. The parties focused on expanding cultural exchanges, including joint events and collaboration between creative teams.
Additionally, a meeting with Mongolia’s Minister of Food, Agriculture, and Light Industry, Jadambaagiin Enkhabayar, provided a platform to explore opportunities in agriculture and food security. Both sides agreed to share experiences in using high technologies within the agricultural sector.
The visit concluded with both countries reaffirming their commitment to strengthening coordination between government, quasi-government, and business entities, aiming to identify new areas for cooperation and growth.
