Kazakhstan ranks 48th place in the Open Data

Kazakhstan has risen by 6 positions in the global Open Data Inventory (ODIN) data openness rating, Turanews.kz reports citing the Bureau of National Statistics reports of Kazakhstan.

In 2020, the country ranked 54th. In the period 2021-2022, Kazakhstan’s overall score increased from 57 to 59 in data coverage and from 65 to 68 in data openness.

The top 3 in the list are Singapore ranks first, then Denmark and Finland come up.

The Open Data Inventory (ODIN) is a global ranking of open data developed and implemented by the international non-profit organization Open Data Watch. ODIN evaluates the coverage and openness of official statistics to identify gaps, promote open data policies, improve access, and encourage dialogue between national statistical offices and data users.
