Kazakhstan Prepares to Launch Its Own Rocket

Kazakhstan is set to launch its own domestic launch vehicle into space in 2025.

Zhaslan Madiyev, the Minister of Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry, made this announcement during a meeting of the Senate.

The minister highlighted that this initiative aims to establish an independent launch vehicle, allowing Kazakhstan to access space without relying on external resources. Currently, the materials and components for the launch vehicle are under development, and a prototype utilizing mixed solid rocket fuel has already been created.

Madiyev also indicated that a meteorological rocket is scheduled for launch in 2025, with plans to test an ultra-light rocket by 2030.
