Kazakhstan Plans to Export Meat to Türkiye

Kazakhstan is preparing to supply meat to Türkiye, Vice Minister of Agriculture Yermek Kenzhekhanuly announced,.

Vice Minister of Agriculture Yermek Kenzhekhanuly stated that trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Türkiye reached approximately $285 million in 2023. Kazakhstan mainly exports grains and legumes, while Türkiye supplies vegetables, fruits, nuts, and other agricultural products.

The vice minister added that Kazakhstan is working on arrangements to export meat and meat products. Negotiations are ongoing with Turkish veterinary authorities, and approval processes for meat-exporting enterprises are underway.
