Kazakhstan plans to build Industrial Trade and Logistics Complex on border with Kyrgyzstan

An industrial trade and logistics complex will be established on the border of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. The agreement was signed by Serik Zhumangarin, the Deputy Prime Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan, and Daniiar Aman-geldiev, the Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, on the sidelines of the Astana International Forum, Turanews.kz reports.

“This long-awaited event is not only significant in technical terms but also represents a further step in the development of our economic and neighborly relations. The agreement has been in preparation for several years, with details being refined and investors being identified,” Zhumangarin noted after the signing ceremony.

As reported by the department, the construction of the complex is planned on the Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan border near the Karasu-Ak Tilek border crossings.
