“Kazakhstan Medicine Days” Held in Uzbekistan

The “Kazakhstan Medicine Days” and the “Uzbekistan–Kazakhstan Medical Youth Friendship Week” took place at Tashkent State Medical University from October 15 to 17, 2025, marking a new chapter in medical cooperation between the two neighboring countries.

The event provided a valuable platform for young scientists and future doctors to exchange ideas and practical experience. Students from Tashkent engaged in open discussions with the heads of Kazakhstan’s leading medical universities — including rectors and vice-rectors of universities from Almaty, Karaganda, Semey, and West Kazakhstan.

The week’s program featured international competitions in surgery and dentistry, scientific-practical conferences, workshops, and roundtable discussions. Kazakh rectors and professors also delivered lectures on education and scientific innovation.

At the closing ceremony, Tashkent State Medical University Rector Shukhrat Boimuratov congratulated the participants, noting the growing global recognition of medical education and training in both countries.

The event not only strengthened academic ties between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan but also gave fresh impetus to the development of medical science in Central Asia.
