During the event, the Russian energy giant Gazprom finalized agreements with Kazakhstan. First Deputy Prime Minister Roman Sklyar represented the Kazakh government, while Gazprom’s management was also present.
The contracts included an action plan to boost the transportation of Russian gas through Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan via the Central Asia-Center (CAC)-4 gas pipeline. Additionally, agreements were reached with Gazprom Export LLC for gas supply to both the north and south regions of Kyrgyzstan. Gas supply contracts were also signed with Kyrgyz companies OJSC Electric Stations and Bishkekteploenergo.
