- Iran: 644,000 tons, a 20-fold increase.
- Azerbaijan: 319,000 tons, a 79-fold increase.
In 2024, a total of 10.6 million tons of grain was transported, including 2.5 million tons for the domestic market and 8.1 million tons for export.
Flour Exports Also On the Rise
According to KTZ, 3.2 million tons of flour were transported in 2024, with 817,000 tons distributed domestically and 2.4 million tons exported, reflecting a 3% growth.
Between January and February 16, 352,000 tons of flour were shipped, of which 238,000 tons were exported, showing a 9.6% increase.
The primary importers of Kazakh flour include Central Asian countries, China, Afghanistan, and others.
