Kazakhstan Celebrates International Youth Day

International Youth Day, established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1999, is celebrated annually on August 12.

In Kazakhstan, youth are considered a key resource for the country’s development. The state youth policy is aimed at supporting and unlocking the potential of the younger generation, creating conditions for quality education and employment, motivating young professionals, and encouraging talents. Across the country’s regions, new-format schools “Keleshek mektepteri” are opening, the “Bolashak” program is being implemented, and youth awards such as “Jas Kenes Syilygy,” “Daryn,” and the “Independence Generation” grant are being introduced.

Young Kazakhstanis are active participants in public life and innovators contributing to economic growth, the strengthening of national values, and the country’s international image.

We congratulate the youth of Kazakhstan on this special occasion!
