Kazakhstan Boosts Agricultural Exports to Georgia
Kazakhstan has significantly increased its agricultural exports to Georgia in 2024, with the total export volume reaching $71 million, a 12.3% increase compared to the previous year, according to Agriculture Minister Aidarbek Saparov.
The range of products exported has also expanded to include wheat, flour products, pasta, confectionery, grains, and oilseeds. In 2023, Kazakhstan did not export wheat or meat to Georgia.
In late 2024, Kazakhstan and Georgia signed important agreements, including a veterinary certificate for the supply of meat products to Georgia.
“We are interested in expanding the supply of agricultural products to Georgia and activating this direction,” Saparov said. “A trip to Georgia is planned in the near future to meet with the Minister of Agriculture to further discuss joint projects.”
Saparov added that Kazakhstan intends to further diversify the range of exported products.
