Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Türkiye Celebrate Turkic Cooperation Day

Today marks the 15th anniversary of the signing of the agreement in Nakhichevan, which led to the creation of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States, now known as the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

In just 15 years, the OTS has emerged as an important player in international relations, actively contributing to peace and sustainable development. The organization promotes cooperation in various areas, including transit, transport, economics, ecology, science, education, art, tourism, sports, and humanitarian initiatives.

Kazakhstan, a founding member and key initiator of the OTS, continues to foster integration within the organization. This year, under the theme “TURKTIME!”, Kazakhstan’s chairmanship has outlined eight key priorities aimed at strengthening unity and cooperation among Turkic countries.
