Kazakhstan Association of Turkish University Alumni Hosts President Erdogan During Turkic States Summit
The Kazakhstan Association of Turkish University Alumni had the distinct honor of welcoming President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Türkiye as he arrived in Kazakhstan to partake in the 10th summit of the Organization of Turkic States. The meeting, held on the sidelines of the summit, provided a platform for the Association’s board members, including Asylbek Razakov, Saltanat Nazarymbetova, Ibragim Ibadillaev, and Islambek Shapenov, to share insights into the association’s endeavors and offer a symbolic gift on behalf of the Association.
The public organization, known as the “Turkiya Tulekteri Associationsy,” was founded at the initiative of Kazakh graduates who completed their studies at Turkish higher educational institutions. Operating in accordance with the Constitution and Laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, this association, officially established in 2022, continues its mission to foster connections among Kazakh alumni who have graduated from Turkish higher educational institutions. Over the years, the Turkish government has provided educational grants to more than 5,800 Kazakh students since 1992, resulting in a growing community of over 8,000 Kazakhstani graduates.
In light of this, the Association’s primary objective is to enhance social, cultural, scientific, professional, and multifaceted interactions among Kazakhstani alumni of Turkish higher educational institutions, further solidifying the bonds of cooperation among these graduates.
