Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan Foreign Ministers Discuss Bilateral Cooperation
On August 16, a telephone conversation took place between Kazakhstan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Murat Nurtleu, and Uzbekistan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov. The discussion focused on the current state and future prospects of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
The ministers emphasized the importance of implementing agreements made during the recent state visit of Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Astana in August. These agreements are aimed at further strengthening the strategic partnership and alliance between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
Additionally, the ministers exchanged views on pressing regional and international issues and reviewed the upcoming schedule of international events.
