Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan Boost Agricultural Cooperation

A meeting between Kazakh and Uzbek agricultural producers took place in Astana, with leaders from both countries' agriculture ministries, as well as representatives from the Akmola, Karaganda, Kostanay, and North Kazakhstan regional agriculture departments and industry associations, in attendance.

The meeting aimed to explore the potential for joint projects in agriculture, focusing on collaborative crop cultivation and leather processing.

During the discussions, participants exchanged business proposals and ideas, examining the mechanisms and conditions for potential cooperation.

As a result of the meeting, entrepreneurs from both countries agreed to continue negotiations in a B2B format and arranged for Uzbek entrepreneurs to visit Kazakh farms.
