Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan Foreign Ministers Discuss Strategic Partnership
On July 8, 2024, Kazakhstan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Murat Nurtleu, met with Turkmenistan's Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rashid Meredov, during his working visit to Astana.
The discussions covered a broad range of Kazakh-Turkmen cooperation topics, including political, trade-economic, transit-transport, energy, and cultural-humanitarian sectors. They also reviewed the schedule for upcoming high-level international events.
Nurtleu congratulated Meredov on the successful Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in Kazakhstan and the unveiling of the monument to Turkmen thinker and poet Magtymguly Fragi in Astana.
