Kazakhstan and Türkiye are deepening their collaboration in the healthcare sector, as confirmed during Kazakh Health Minister Akmaral Alnazarova’s visit to Ankara.

In a meeting with her Turkish counterpart, Kemal Memişoğlu, the ministers discussed joint projects and future cooperation. Key topics included hospital infrastructure development, attracting foreign investment in Kazakhstan’s pharmaceutical sector, improving medical education, and integrating advanced technologies in treatment and diagnostics.

Additionally, Minister Alnazarova visited Türkiye’s largest hospital in Ankara and met with the TÜSEB (Health Institutes of Türkiye) to explore joint research in pharmaceuticals and medicine, as well as staff exchange programs.

As a result of the visit, new agreements and memorandums are expected to be signed to enhance bilateral cooperation in healthcare.
