Kazakhstan and Hungary Deepen Cooperation in Space and Digital Technologies
Kazakhstan and Hungary are expanding collaboration in key areas such as digitization, telecommunications, and space technologies.

In Astana, Kazakhstan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Alibek Kuantyrov met with Gellért Jászai, Chairman of Hungary’s 4iG Plc. and Special Envoy for international business relations, as well as Hungarian Ambassador Otto Iván Róna.
Discussions focused on joint initiatives in satellite communications, geospatial services, and advanced IT solutions, with both sides expressing interest in boosting investment cooperation in these sectors.
Kuantyrov highlighted the strategic importance of utilizing 4iG’s technological expertise to support Kazakhstan’s goals in digital transformation and the development of its space industry. He emphasized the country’s openness to high-tech investors and science-driven manufacturing.
Gellért Jászai noted the company’s strong interest in working with Kazakh partners and praised the recently signed memorandum with “Kazakhstan Gharysh Sapary” as a key step toward a strategic partnership in space and digital projects.
During the visit, the 4iG Plc. delegation also held meetings with key governmental bodies to explore practical cooperation opportunities.
4iG Plc. is a leading Hungarian telecom and ICT holding with over 8,000 employees and 28 subsidiaries. The company was awarded by the Budapest Stock Exchange in 2023 for its growth achievements and started building Hungary’s first space technology production center in 2025.
