Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan Finalize Veterinary Certificates

Kazakhstan and the Republic of Azerbaijan have reached a significant agreement on several veterinary certificates, marking an important step forward in developing trade relations between the two nations. This initiative aligns with the Ministry of Agriculture's strategy to advance the agricultural sector and bolster Kazakhstan's position in the global market.

The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan is taking systematic measures to improve the quality and safety standards of livestock products, supporting producers in their efforts to access new international markets. The ministry played a crucial role in these negotiations, according to BasAgro.kz.

As a result of the agreement, Kazakh producers will now be able to export milk and dairy products from cattle and small ruminants to Azerbaijan. The agreement also covers the export of poultry meat, offal, and by-products. Additionally, a veterinary certificate will be signed for the export of camels and other members of the camel family, such as llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas, as well as breeding cattle, small cattle, slaughter cattle, canned goods, sausages, and other processed meat products.

“This agreement opens up new opportunities for expanding Kazakhstan’s exports and strengthening the economic partnership between the two countries in the field of animal husbandry. I am confident that it will contribute to economic growth and prosperity,” said Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov, emphasizing the importance of the agreement.

Efforts to expand the range of exported products continue, as both countries look to deepen their economic ties in the agricultural sector.
