According to the Statistics Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the country’s foreign trade turnover for January, February, and March 2024 reached $15.8 billion, marking a 6.2% increase compared to the same period in 2023.
Currently, Uzbekistan engages in trade relations with 184 countries worldwide.
Leading the list of trading partners is China, with trade totaling $3 billion, constituting 19% of the total turnover. Russia follows closely in second place with $2.8 billion (17.7%). Kazakhstan ranks third with a turnover of $937 million (5.9%) and Türkiye ranks fourth with a turnover of $656 million (4.1%)
Breaking down the trade structure, Uzbekistan exported goods worth $294.8 million to Kazakhstan, while imports amounted to $642.9 million.
