Aruzhan Sagandykova, an 18-year-old Kazakh tennis player, has significantly improved her position in the updated WTA rankings. She was ranked 1056th in the previous rankings, but she has now risen to 958th, Turanews.kz reports.
This is Sagandykova’s best ranking to date. She has been steadily improving her ranking over the past few months, and this latest improvement is a testament to her hard work and dedication.
In other news, Zhibek Kulambayeva has also risen in the rankings. She was previously ranked 438th, but she is now ranked 436th.
Elena Rybakina, the top-ranked Kazakh tennis player, has retained her fourth place in the WTA rankings. Yulia Putintseva, the second-ranked Kazakh player, has dropped 18 places to 79th. Gozal Ainitdinova has lost one place to 544th, and Anna Danilina has lost two places to 865th.
There are currently six Kazakh tennis players competing in the WTA tour in singles.
