Kazakh Students Achieve Strong Results at STEAM Festival in Azerbaijan

The International STEAM Azerbaijan Festival (SAF 2025), one of the region’s largest educational events, took place in Baku, bringing together more than 1,400 participants from 22 countries. Kazakhstan was represented by ten teams from several leading educational institutions.

Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Alim Bayel, visited the festival to observe its organization and meet with the Kazakh teams. He praised the students’ high level of preparation and wished them success in the competitions.

Kazakhstan’s students delivered impressive performances across multiple categories. They secured 1st and 2nd places in the “Robot Competition,” 1st and 3rd places in the “Robot Competition Kids,” as well as 3rd place in both the “Flytech” and “Boat Racing” events.

The STEAM model integrates five key fields: Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. The “STEAM Azerbaijan” festival has been held for five consecutive years, with Kazakh students consistently achieving strong results on the international stage.
