Kazakh Students Achieve a Perfect Score at the KhIMIO2025 International Olympiad
Kazakh school students delivered an outstanding performance at the KhIMIO2025 international mathematics and informatics olympiad, held on 5–9 November in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, securing eight medals and achieving a flawless 100 percent result.

According to the Ministry of Education of Kazakhstan, gifted students from 10 countries competed in the event. Kazakhstan’s team was represented in two age categories — grades 7–8 and 9–11 — with every participant finishing among the medalists.
Senior age group (Grades 9–11):
• Mansur Mamadakhunov – Kyzylorda “Bilim-Innovation” boarding lyceum (informatics)
• Aldiyar Seitbay – Astana “Bilim-Innovation” boarding lyceum (informatics)
• Ali Erkebulanov – Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics, Almaty (mathematics)
• Berdibek Orynbasar – Atyrau “Bilim-Innovation” boarding lyceum No.1 (mathematics)
Junior age group (Grades 7–8):
• Akhmet Berdimurat – Aktobe “Bilim-Innovation” boarding lyceum (mathematics)
• Temir Orazbek – Republican Physics and Mathematics School, Almaty (mathematics)
• Azamat Rakhimberdiyev – Atyrau “Bilim-Innovation” boarding lyceum No.1 (informatics)
• Islam Yermukhanov – Aktobe “Bilim-Innovation” boarding lyceum (informatics)
The olympiad featured theoretical and practical rounds, with English, Russian, and Tajik as the working languages.
