Kazakh Senators Observe Elections in Uzbekistan and Georgia
Alibek Nautiyev and Kairat Tastekeyev, senators from the Parliament of Kazakhstan, recently participated in election observation missions in Uzbekistan and Georgia as part of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly delegations. Nautiyev observed the parliamentary elections in Uzbekistan, while Tastekeyev was stationed in Georgia.
Both senators commended the Central Election Commissions of each country for ensuring a high level of organization, openness, and transparency throughout the electoral processes. They highlighted that the elections adhered to international standards, upholding citizens’ freedom of choice and full access to the voting process.
The senators further emphasized that such international observation missions play a vital role in fostering cooperation and mutual understanding between nations, supporting stability and democratic progress in the region.
