Kazakhstani athletes received medals at the Indian Open Para Athletics Championship, Turanews.kz reports citing to csp-parasport.kz.
In the shot put Alexey Lukutin sent the metal ball to 7.95 meters and won a silver medal. The first and third places went to athletes from India.
In discus throwing, Ivan Zaleznyak from Kazakhstan became the bronze medalist with a score of 32.11 m. Indian athletes also took the first and second places.
Recall that the championship was held in the city of Bengaluru from 4 to 8 May. 486 athletes from 11 countries of the world took part in the competition.
