Kazakh Foreign Minister Attends Meeting of Central Asian Foreign Ministers

Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister, Yerzhan Kosherbayev, took part in the Council of Foreign Ministers of Central Asian States on 15 November, a key preparatory event ahead of the upcoming seventh Consultative Meeting of Central Asian Heads of State.

The gathering brought together Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev, Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin, Uzbekistan’s top diplomat Bakhtiyor Saidov, Turkmen Deputy Foreign Minister Serdar Mukhammeddurdiyev, as well as Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, who participated as an honorary guest.

During the discussions, the ministers reviewed prospects for deepening cooperation and exchanged views on pressing regional and global issues.

Kosherbayev noted that thanks to strong political will and a constructive dialogue among the region’s leaders, multilateral cooperation within the five-party format has reached a new stage.

“Kazakhstan supports further strengthening regional interaction and remains committed to ensuring a politically stable, economically resilient and secure Central Asia,” the minister emphasized.

The participants also agreed on the agenda and a package of final documents for the seventh Consultative Meeting of Central Asian Heads of State, scheduled to take place on 16 November 2025 in Tashkent.
