Kazakh and Korean Leaders Attend Gala Concert Celebrating Art

Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and South Korea's President Yun Seok Yeol attended a spectacular gala concert showcasing the talents of artists from both Kazakhstan and Korea.

Before the concert began, the leaders visited the “Uly Dala Altyny” (“Gold of the Great Steppe”) exhibition in the foyer of the Kalibek Kuanyshbayev Kazakh National Music and Drama Theater. This exhibition featured historical artifacts made of gold, including the reconstructed attire and weaponry of the “Golden Man,” discovered during the Issyk mound excavations.

Following the exhibition, Presidents Tokayev and Yun Seok Yeol enjoyed a concert featuring prominent artists and groups from both nations. The program included works by international composers, excerpts from renowned operas, and several choreographic pieces.

Performances were given by solo artists and ensembles such as the State Opera and Ballet Theater “Astana Opera,” the State Republican Korean Theater of Musical Comedy, as well as the “Birlik” ensemble and leaders of Korean culture.

The event was attended by members of the official Korean delegation and representatives from various ethnocultural associations in Kazakhstan.
